Samsung Galaxy Y Duos is another excellent handset of Samsung Company and carries a lot of exacting features. The shape and design of the phone is also cool as it has small sized body with dimensions of 109.8 x 60 x 12 mm and has 109 grams body weight. This phone can run two 2G network SIM at a same time and also support 3G networks communication. The phone run the operating system of Google known as Android version 2.3, also termed as Gingerbread. Accelerometer, compass and proximity sensors are placed in it which makes the usage of phone interesting.

Talking about the display in which it contains capacitive TFT touchscreen with 256K colors and has display size of 3.14 inches with resolution size of 320 x 240 pixels. The Samsung touch-wiz makes the touchscreen of the phone more efficient. Micro SD card up to 32 GB, 512 MB ROM and 384 RAM memories, are all induced in the CPU memory storage section. The good thing is that you will also get already placed 2GB memory card with the mobile phone.

In data connectivity and file transfer options it has Wi-Fi 802.11 with Wi-Fi hotspots, A2DP supported 3.0 Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, GPRS and EDGE. It has camera of power 3 megapixels which capture the images at the resolution power of 2048 x 1536 pixels with geo tagging feature. Video at QVGA mode can also be recorded though this camera. As the operating system of the phone is based on Google OS so it contains almost every Google Apps like Gmail, YouTube, Maps, Search and Google Earth.


Use it’s built in GPS with AGPS support for navigation and stereo FM radio for listening to music. Its other apps and features are MP4, MP3, H.264, WAV, eACC+ player, image / video editor, organizer, messaging (SMS, IM, RSS, Email, Push Email, MMS), java, games and SNS integration. The battery of Li-ion 1300 mAhoffers good talk and standby time.
