Nokia 500 is a Nokia’s latest full touchscreen smartphone that is lot of user friendly. Nokia 500 comprises of a 2G networks in which it supports 1800, 1900, 850, and 900 GSM. It also supports 3G networks which supports HSDPA 1700, 1900, 850 and 2100. The weight of Nokia 500 smartphone is 93 grams including battery weight. Its dimensions are 111.3mm x 53.8 mm x 14.1 mm. it contains TFT of capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. Display size is 340×640 pixels which is 3.2 inches.

It is also provided with a loudspeaker along with a 3.5mm jack. MP3 ringtones are supported by Nokia 500 smartphone. Micro SD memory card up to 32 GB could be installed in it card slot if required. Internal memory of Nokia 500 smartphone is 2 GB having 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. It is also provided with GPRS of class 33, Edge of class 33 and for 3G connectivity it runs HSDPA and HSUPA. Wi-Fi of 802.11 b/g is supported.

It also consists of Bluetooth of version 2.1 with A2DP and EDR. 2.0 micro USB is also placed in it. 5MP primary camera is there to capture beautiful moments of life with pixels range of 2592 x 1944. Video of 15 fps could also be recorded. No secondary camera is available. The operating system supported by Nokia 500 full touch screen smartphone is Symbian Anna with a processor speed of 1 GHz ARM 11. It also consists of proximity, compass and accelerometer sensors. WAP 2.0, X-HTML, HTML and adobe life browser is installed.


Good for radio lovers as it is provided with stereo FM radio. Nokia 500 smartphone is available in black/white colors with covering in purple, khaki, coral red, green, silver and pink. It is provided with photo editor and organizing options. Voice command dial is also available. A standard removable Li-Ion 1110 mAh battery is provided with it that offers Standby time up to 500 hours with 2G network while with 3g network is 455 as 3G is more consuming. Talk time is up to 7 hours with 2G network and 5 hours with 3G network. It is given with music play time of 35 hours.
