BlackBerry Storm2 9550 Review
BlackBerry Storm2 9550 is a fully multimedia stylish handset that comes in market for attracting the business users. The phone is slim and highly designed in order to look unique and graceful. This smart phone can work on every 2G (GSM 900, 850, 1900, 1800) and 3G (HSPA 2100, CDMA/UMTS 2100 and EV-DO 1900, 800).
It is little big in length with dimensions 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm and also has little heavy weight with 160 grams but you can still use it while lifting it in single hand. This mobile phone is exclusively designed for the Markets of US. The specs at a glance are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 3G (HSPA, EV-DO, and HSUPA), GPRS and EDGE both of class 10 and GPS with AGPS support. It has 256MB on board memory and 2GB e-MMC memory, in other words its total internal storage capacity is 2GB.
It card slot has already placed 16GB micro SD in it and can be replaced up to 32GB. It is only available in black color. The display of 3.25 inches has high resolution 480 x 360 pixels TFT 65K color display which has capacitive touch screen surface and has feature of light sensitiveness and accelerometer sensors.
In battery and battery life, it has removable and rechargeable lithium ion 1400mAHr battery which talk-time is up to 5 hours (GSM), 5.5 hours (CDMA) and 6 hours (UMTS) while standby time is up to 12.7 days (GSM), 11.7 days (UMTS) and 11.2 days (CDMA). In audio and voice it has 3.5mm stereo headset jack, M3 rating for hearing aid and in built loudspeaker.
The ringtones and notifications section of this device is composed of Mp3 ringtones, vibrator, Led indicator, Polyphonic and MIDI ringtone, all these features are user configurable. It has Bluetooth2.1 with EDRI and micro USB port 2.0 in it.
Camera and video recording option is powered by 3.2MP 2x digital zoom auto focus camera with geo tagging, image stabilization and video recording abilities. It has 5.0 blackberry operating system installed in it. Plenty of apps are locked inside in it which includes music audio video players, document editors, games, java etc.
