Curve was one of the most successful series of BlackBerry and it would be wise to say that this series took the company to the heights and now almost every corporate person or businessman has a BlackBerry. Curve 8530 was launched in 2009 and is a sleek and stylish phone which has dynamic looks and it gives a new meaning to smart phones.
The phone is specifically made for the corporate people as it also includes QWERTY keypad like every other BlackBerry phone for the ease of typing emails. Its dimensions are 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm so as every BlackBerry phone it is a bit bulky in size but that doesn’t means that it is heavy as it weighs only 106 grams.

Display screen is 320 x 240 pixels wide TFT 2.46 inches LCD which can display up to 65K colors and so the display quality is assured. It also includes optical track pad for navigational purposes. Internal memory of this phone is 256MB while it can be extended up to 32 GB using the external memory card slot.


Camera placed in this phone is 2 MP which can also be used to record good quality videos. Curve 8530 runs on BlackBerry Operating system. Processor installed in this phone is 528MHz. Other standard features include WLAN, Bluetooth connectivity, Support for 3G network, USB connectivity GPS. It gives amazing battery timings with its Li-lon 1150 mAh battery; standby time given is 252 hours while talk time is up to 4 hours and 30 minutes.
