BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Review
No doubt that BlackBerry Pearl 8100 is a tiny handset as compared to the other BlackBerry handset of the markets. It has some amazing features with hot and slim deign. Instead of heaving a typical QWERTY keypad, it uses Sure Type systems in which each key of the keypad handles two QWERTY characters.
According to market point of view this keypad is only drawback of this mobile. Beside that the right side of the phone has volume keys for adjusting volume during calls and right convenience key to open camera and to take pictures.
The mute key is places in the top of the mobile and left side hosts headset jack, USB port and left convenience key that opens applications related to voice dialing. You can see a track ball that roll around on the menu and also for selecting the option. The end key is used to turn on or off the device. Internally it supports GSM frequencies only.
Its weight is 90 grams and dimensions are 107 x 50 x 14.5 mm. the TFT of 65K colors with 240 x 260 pixels resolution shows sharp images and display on 2.2 inches screen. In hardware it has GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, USB, 64MB storage capacity and in multimedia option it has 1.3MP LED flash camera with 1280 x 1024 pixels image capturing resolution.
This mobile phone has operating system of BlackBerry in it along with 32 Bit Intel X-Scale PXA272 processor of 312MHz. it comes in market in three sharp colors that is white, Red and black with Lithium ion standard battery of 900mAh inside it that has 360 hours stand by and 3 hours 30 minutes talk time. In the applications of this mobile you can see Document Viewer, organizer, Browser (HTML), java and games while it supports SMS, MMS, Email and IM in messaging option.
